one of the better, and more unique, rye beers ive had in awhile, the addition of caraway seeds makes this really clever and distinctive, i love the spiciness they bring with the similar note from the rye malt, and i think this is a wonderful food beer, well beyond fish fry, i am very impressed! middle of the road amber colored base beer, average near white head from the tap, airy and with a slow fade. the nose and taste on this are really similar, and i am stoked how forward the caraway is, german vibes all day on this, bready with the kilned type malt, and a cool rye factor too, the earthy pale rye character but i almost sense a deeper rye, maybe a pinch of chocolate rye in here too to supplement, its very full spectrum either way, super compatible with the caraway, and overall this thing just rules. slight pickle vibes with the caraway, old world rustic bread, soft pretzel, caramelized grain sugars but relatively dry overall, and almost a lager yeast element to the ferment, a little hint of something old worldy there. hops are light, body is medium, and there is nice smoothness here, the rye pops as bold, the caraway accents it wonderfully, and this is perfect fall beer, not too weird for session drinking. very enjoyable rye brew, i love the creativity and the execution!

12oz can. Label is marked with the dating information of '1072209'.
Clear, deep gold colored body. Thin cap of head upon pouring, which recedes quickly to a bubble fed island and very thin ring. No lacing.
Aroma is faint, with bread malt, and a bit of spicy rye. Has a little bit of sweetness.
Taste is much more than the nose. Has bready malt and grainy, rye spice. Touch of sweetness. Caraway seed is evident.
Medium mouth feel. Smooth finish. Adequate carbonation.
Has the added flavors from the rye and the caraway seed.

Appearance: Pours a completely clear, medium to dark orange color with a light white head. SRM of 9. (3.75)
Aroma: Strong aromas of honey, earthy grains, bready malts.
Flavor: Strong flavors follow with more honey, bready malts, now but with a strong caraway seed and rye spice and flavor that comes through in the middle. Lots of rye evolves.
Feel: Medium-bodied, low carbonation. Finish is clean with a lingering caraway/rye spice.
Overall: A pretty nicely done rye beer here. Nice aromas like a helles or festbier, but then on the flavor comes the show. Spices of caraway and rye are definitely present. Nicely done and not overpowering. Spiced and lightly bitter. Flat body is the only criticism. Otherwise this one was better than I expected based on the name of the beer. (Rating: 3.89)

Pours copper, limited head, light bread aroma. Tastes like rye bread, no fish taste at all. Surprisingly pleasant. Better than most marzens I had this October. Would buy again.

Pours a mostly clear crimson color with an off white head. Smell is citrus anise and licorice . Taste has biscuit malts with citrus rye and spices . A semi biter moth feel with anise ,assorted huts and baked rye bread. One was enough for me/

Day 10 of the 2021 Advent Calendar. Poured from a can into pint glass. Pours orange red with a small off white head. Smells of sweet rye, fresh and inviting. Tastes of rye, especially spicy. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.

Beautiful amber pouring. The head is slightly off white, and 2 finger. The retention is good, but no lacing on the glass.
The nose is minimal. Just a slight malt aroma.
This beer is just like drinking rye bread. The rye hits you and hits hard. There's a pepper flavor that comes across as well, that works well with it, and pleasing.
Good body to this beer. The rye lingers in my throat, and sticks like a very hoppy IPA.
Damn delicious, and a pleasure to try.
