Got this from the brewery. Cheers!
From a 33cl can into a snifter
Best Before 4 June 2021
Brewed with HBC 692 hops
APPEARANCE: Pours a small, thicker white head with solid retention. Hazy amber yellow in color with no real carbonation evident. Head eventually fades to a swirly half wisp and clings to the glass. Faint touches of wisp remain leaving decent lacing down the glass as it empties.
SMELL: Bold nose of tangerine, peaches and apricot, with notes of pineapple as well. Nectarines all over this one. Aromatic and insanely awesome.
TASTE: Bolder flavors of nectarines, peaches, some apricot, floral hop flavors and some lightly bitter pine character at the swallow. Solid finish of nectarines and peaches, apricot, floral notes, some pineapple sweetness and touch of bitterness lingering on the palate. Flavorful and quite a unique profile.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy on the palate, goes down smooth and finishes slightly dry. A bit of alcohol lingers. Solid feel.
OVERALL: This is really, really good. Like many of their IPAs, the nose is just a little more forthcoming than the flavor, but it’s a minor issue here. This new experimental hop is great and it definitely shows an interesting, unique hop profile. Nectarines, peaches and apricots are clear as day. Well-engineered as well. Excellent beer and definitely worth checking out if you get the chance. Highly recommended.
