Got this from the webshop. Cheers!
From a can into a snifter
Best before 24 August 2022
Hops: Cascade, Athanum, HBC644 & Citra
APPEARANCE: Pours a one finger, medium looking, creamy, frothy white head with excellent retention. Clear safety orange in color with higher levels of carbonation. Head eventually recedes to a faint wisp and clings to the sides of the glass, leaving sheets of lacing as it empties. Good looking brew.
SMELL: Caramel aromas, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, with notes of grapefruit on the nose. Bold nose.
TASTE: Caramel, honey, melon flavors with piney bitterness and some grapefruit citrus flavors at the swallow. Bold finish of caramel sweetness, honey, melon and cantaloupe, piney flavors, grapefruit and some hop bitterness linger long after the swallow. Consistent from start to finish. Good stuff.
PALATE: Medium-fuller body and medium carbonation. Creamy on the palate, goes down smooth and finishes rather dry. Some decent bitterness lingers.
OVERALL: This is really good. Lovely look and feel with plenty of bold character to enjoy. One of the better West Coast IPAs to come out in a the last while. VandeStreek does a great job with their hop-forward stuff and this is a wonderful example of that. Cheers!
