Quite a gusher, this coffee stout. Took me a while to get it all in the glass, which is why i'm giving a lower point at the overall score. But when it's finally entirely inside its glass: full black colour with a nice big frothy cappucino head. Smell of fresh coffee, caramel and some hops. A full taste with coffee being prominent here (duh), but also cacao and raisins make a good presence here. Very smooth and soft mouth feel and the high abv is well hidden. Nice beer.

Coffee stout, so says the label. Black pour with a very lively head. Smells of freshly brewed coffee, cocoa, raisins and caramel. The taste follows through, with notes of coffee, dark fruit, dark chocolate and molasses. Very easy beer, medium-light in body and a soft carbonation. The aftertaste is bitter-sweet, with a nice coffee taste lingering on the back of the tongue.

A coffee beer. A dark brown beer with a creamy head which lasts a long time.
The smell has a nice balance between the coffee and dark malts. The dark malts add a light roast, where the coffee add a slight sourness of spent coffee.
The taste is rich and full, this adds enough balance to the roasted flavors of the coffee and dark malts. The coffee is light and lacks the sourness so much found in extreme coffee beers. However, there is a light spent coffee taste, but this is nice. A nice, subtle coffee beer!
