Hazy amber with a huge head; takes a while to get all the contents of the bottle into the glass. Smell of sour apple, straw, malt and honey. Sour apple again in the taste, with some sweet honey and malt and a tad of hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium body, a bit watery sometimes and quite refreshing for its abv. Sold as a honey beer, but it's too sour for this kind of beer (as was their Bokkepruik). Okay, but lacks subtleness and complexity. Also drank it in the wrong season: the sourness and hay in the smell could make it a decent beer for early spring. It doesn't suit the Christmas holiday season though.
