The beer pours a slightly murky orange, golden color with an initial big head, which slowly settles into a small layer.
The smell is a blend of juniper and lemon. This however is a bit of a blurry smell, with the spices not blending into the beers smell and smells a bit musty.
The taste is better than the smell, the above average bitterness lends a balance to the spices. The citra hops and lemon and juniper combine very well, both subtle lemony citrus and blueberry spicy. The drinkability of the beer is good and the aftertaste is a lingering citrus and bitter.
