Thick tan head. Black in color.
This beer reminds me a lot of a cross between expedition and darkness. It has the right amount of roast, fudge, chocolate, and molasses/licorice. Then there is some earthy hops. Caramel.
Some oily hop flavors in the in the finish. Almost a touch sticky, but overall smooth and velvety.
Great imperial stout. Well done.
