Copenhagen 19/1 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé Frb. F. A very dark can with a demonic yellow eye glaring at me.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as paper thin, åpatachy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a dark, sweet and potent, malty odor mingling with an equally dark, boozy scent. Dark, roasted malts, toffee, brown sugar and lactose. Dark alcohol. Touch of Rum.
Light carbonation Rather thick, oily, viscous, soft, smooth, creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitteness. Aftertaste is bitter with a strong sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is sweet and boozy.
