Copenhagen 8/7 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Balck can with a sombre visage bleeding a dark tear. Very Emo.
Pours opaque dark brown with a light beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, dark odor mingling with a earthy and sourish scent. Dark roasted malts. Toffee and caramel. Peat and leather.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is rather intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Satisfyingly bitter Stout.
