Paradisfugl is double up on malt and hops. We have added the hops Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka, which merge into a symphony of citrus, white grapes, white berries and sweet grapefruit.
Paradisfugl is part of the Phoenix series from Ølsnedkeren.

Copenhagen 3/12 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of a weird bird with a remarkably small head on the can.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as paper thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of slightly fermented tropical fruit mingling with more subtle citrus fruit. Mango and passion fruit. Grapefruit and lemon. Hints of petroleum.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a pleasant sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Fine, potent and not too boozy.
