Winter season is here and here is our Imperial Stout from this year's winter series.
It's an intense and sweet Imperial Stout with subtle depth from hazelnut and a lovely interplay between residual sweetness and vanilla.
The malt base stands for a lovely taste of both dark and light chocolate in combination with generally roasted notes and coffee. Sweet and full-bodied, yet easy to drink.

Copenhagen 1/12 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Orange Can with a drawing of a Siberian Tiger trudging through the snow.
Pours opaque dark Brown with a Big beige head. Stable. Settles as thin and patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and sugary malty odor mingling with dark alcohol. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar, chocolate waffles, vanilla and raisins.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, creamy, a little sticky, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet and boozy.
Potent pastry boozer.
