Traditional and easily accesible brown ale brewed with pale malt, pilsner malt, light caramel malt, dark caramel malt, chocolate malt and flaked oats. Sweet and soft but with a moderate amount of bitterness from the Chinook used in the kettle.

Copenhagen 9/8 2021. 40 cl from tap at Ølsnedkeren, Griffenfeldsgade, Kbh. N.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a light scent of sweet dark malts mingling with a subdued grainy sourness. Caramel, toffee. Lightly toasted malts. Nuts. Light tart touch.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a sourish undertone. Finish is sweet caramel.
Weak nose but pretty straight forward Brown Ale of the sweet variety.
