Copenhagen 8/7 2021. 44 cl can from SuperBrugsen, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Old Greek temple in a state of disrepair on the can in Ølsnedkeren's usual style.
Pours clear, golden yellow wit a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light fruity odor of tropical juice mingling with stronger citric fumes. Peach, pineapple and mango. Grapefruit and pine.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thin, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Very solid and appropriately citric and bitter. As it should be.
