Copenhagen 23/6 2021. 44 cl can from SuperBrugsen, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Ølsnedkeren’s usual design this time with a drawing of a three storey house on a cart pulled by a truck. Different shades of red.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as a 2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor of tropical fruit mingling with more subdued citric notes. Sweet blood orange, peach and pineapple. Tart grapefruit and citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Sweetish take on a NEIPA. But certainly decent.
