A lovely collab with the folks from Fanø Bryghus.
We teamed up to make a nice stout with a little added cherries for the darker times of winter. Lots of different dark malts added and we are quite satisfied with the end result.

Copenhagen 13/5 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. What looks like a thick rectangular burgundy carpet hovering on the gloomy blue and black can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Do I spot a red hue? Stable head Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with roasted malts and a bit of alcohol. Ripe cherries in abundance, dark roasted malts and a bit of sweet toffee. Sweet liqueur.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate tart bitterness. Aftertaste is sourishly bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Rich Berry-Stout.
