Helt Til Hest is an 8.0% Double West Coast IPA with a robust malt backbone and a bold hop presence. The malt bill combines pale and specialty malts, contributing a rich biscuity character, light caramel sweetness, and an amber hue, while maintaining a dry and crisp finish.
Fermented with Old English yeast, this beer allows the hops to shine while adding subtle depth. Mosaic and Simcoe provide intense resinous notes, layered with flavors of candied bitter orange peel, pine, and a touch of stone fruit. A firm, balanced bitterness complements the full-bodied mouthfeel, making for a bold yet drinkable West Coast experience.

Copenhagen 28/5 2025. 44 cl can from N'Bro Kiosken, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Blue can with orange mountains and a plain with running horses.
Pours slightly unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a paper thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the grass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of fermented stone fruits mingling with a zesty scent of citrus fruit. Sweet mango and nectarine. touch of decay. Grapefruit and lime.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick oily, lively and gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Nice and not overly boozy.
