Copenhagen 19/11 2019. 44 cl can from Best of Beers (web-shop). Dark green can with orange outline of some buildings standing on scaffolds. Pretty cool design.
Pours opaque, hazy, milky brown-ish yellow with big yellow-ish head. Settles as thin, transparent layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is lightly sweet with subdued caramel and biscuits. Strong notes of acidic citrus fruit. Grape fruit and Lemon. Hints of tropical sweetness with a little Pineapple and Peach.
Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a solid caramel sweetness followed by a stronger, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and slightly acerbic. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Fine and fairly uncomplicated NEIPA. Dry and Bitter but with a moderate sweetness for balance.
