Brewed in collaboration with Åben. We decided on a classic thick mash with loads of malted and flaked oats.
We hopped it with Citra and Simcoe in the kettle and dryhopped with Citra, Simcoe and Sabro cryo hops.
All together it provides a hazy ipa as we like them with a soft mouthfeel. The aroma has intense notes of blackcurrant, pine needles, passion fruit and some spicy undertones.

Copenhagen 22/5 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. A big dark pink globe hanging over a blue ground on the can.
Pours hazy, murky, dirty yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a medium strong odor of malts and sweet exotic fruit and more subdued citric notes. Sweet malts, oranges, peach and mango. Citrus and grape fruit.
Light carbonation Medium thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Acerbic. Aftertaste is bitter and citric. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry with a bitter burn.
Bitter, acerbic, citric IPA with just enough sweetness to keep it grounded..
