Copenhagen 29/1 2020. 40 cl on tap at Ølbaren, Elmegade, Kbh. N while something resembling Finnish march music is playing on the stereo.
Pours hazy, opaque, milky yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, fruity sweet with prominent citric notes. Peach, pineapple and mango. Citrus and grape fruit peeking in. Resin and pine.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and citric. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Fine refreshing NEIPA with a light bitter bite. Middle of the road - but a nice and pleasant road.
