Jætten is inspired by the giants of Norse mythology — beings of raw strength and untamed nature.
Brewed with salted caramel, this Imperial Stout embodies deep roasted character, velvety sweetness, and a touch of salted balance that enhances its rich, full-bodied profile.
A bold and indulgent beer — powerful, dark, and irresistibly smooth, just like the giant it’s named after.
Part of Ølsnedkeren’s Norse Mythology Series.

Copehagen 7/12 2025. 44 cl can from Menuy, Borups Allé. Frb. F. Blue can with a barren ice landsvcape and a huge Jætte hovering. Might be good old Útgarða-Loki.
Pours opaque dark brown with dial light beige head. Settles as a paper thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet and rather sugary odor of malts and alcohol. Mingling with a salty scent. Brown sugar and toffee. Raisins soaked in rum. Salt caramel,
Light carbonation. Rather thick, oily, soft and viscous texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Notable salty tang. Aftertaste is sugary and salty with a rough bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet and boozy.
A quite sweet tribute to the Nordic Giants.
