Eiktyrner is this year’s Christmas brown ale, inspired by Norse mythology. Named after the stag that stands atop Valhalla, from whose antlers the waters of the world’s rivers flow, this beer pays tribute to the calm strength and quiet depth of winter.
Brewed as a light-bodied yet flavorful brown ale, it offers rich notes of pipe tobacco and vanilla, supported by a gentle sweetness and smooth finish.
Warming, balanced, and comforting — a beer made for long nights and slow moments.
Part of Ølsnedkeren’s Norse Mythology Series.

Copenhagen 1/1 2026. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Can in Ølsnedkeren's usual Norse Series brand design with the stag Eiktyrner standing proud over a snowy landscape.
Pours clear dark mahogany with a red hue, Small white head. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the sides of the glass. A little form swimming about. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet odor of malts, perfume and Christmas spice. Toasted malts, caramel and biscuits. Tonka beans and vanilla. Brown sugar and toffee. Raisins.
Low carbonation. Slightly thick oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and a bit sugary. Lingers for a while. Finish is sugary with a touch of sweet spice.
Sweet spice and Tonja galore.
