COLOSSAL is a 6.4% Hazy IPA brewed in collaboration with the Danish death metal band BÆST. Built on a smooth base of barley, wheat, and oat malt, it pours with a full haze and a soft mouthfeel.
Dry-hopped with Citra Cryo, Simcoe Cryo, and Amarillo, it delivers bold notes of tropical fruit, citrus, and candied orange peel, layered with hints of pine and resin for balance.

Copenhagen 10/2 2026. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. The can design is similar to the latest album with Danish Metal outfit Bæst called Colossal from 2025. Almost a tradition where Iron Maiden, Metallica and Behemoth also have their own beer.
Pours unclear amber with huge white head. Bubbly. Disappears after a minute leaving only meagre remnants of foam behind. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light odor of ripe stone fruit mingling with a tart citric scent. Peach and apricot. Whiff of flowerbed. Citrus and grapefruit.
Rather strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture. On the verge of being fizzy.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart, sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is tart but a little thin. Lingers for a bit, Finish is quite dry.
Decent if not especially colossal or fearsome.
