Under Østersøen is a 7.2% Baltic Porter with a smooth and refined character.
Rich malt flavors of dark chocolate, toasted bread, and gentle roast are balanced by a clean fermentation profile and a rounded body. The result is a dark, elegant porter with depth and drinkability, true to the Baltic tradition.

Copenhagen 15/2 2026. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden. Hellerup. Can in Ølsnedkeren's usual design which resembles which resembles a stony landscape under the Baltic Sea.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. A bit frothy. Settles as a 0,3 cm thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and a bit dampened by the foam. Sweet caramel and toffee. Leather and tobacco. Humid soil. Whiff of sour grains and alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous and fat, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a med rum strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dark and semi-dry.
Potent Porter not without bitter bite.
