A bunch of roasted malts with flavors of coffee and French Toast. A boozy breakfast beast.

A: Pours a relatively thick viscous jet black in color with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly along the edges of the glass and faint chestnut brown + dark cola brown colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense fizzy foamy dark tan head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of maple syrup and coffee over the top of bready + biscuit + caramel malts with moderate to strong amounts of caramel + maple syrup sweetness. Light aromas of vanilla.
T: Upfront there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of bready + biscuit + caramel malts with moderate to strong amounts of caramel + maple syrup sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of maple syrup and coffee as well as light to moderate flavors of vanilla. Light amounts of bitterness which get balanced out by the maple syrup and caramel sweetness + coffee which linger through the finish.
M: Medium to full bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth, almost creamy.
O: Drinks pretty easily considering the strength/ABV and the alcohol is well hidden. Enjoyable with really nice breakfast/brunch flavors and aromas - coffee and maple syrup. Definitely would be good to have again and next time for brunch.
