Poured from 12 oz. bottle. It pours a clear amber-brown with a thin ecru-colored head that dissipated quickly leaving a thin coating of lacing. The nose features sweet malt, caramel, cracker, and a whiff of spice. It opens with sweet malt followed by dry rye cracker and a touch of spice at the finish. There's no discernible fruit presence. It's medium in body with low carbonation, and very easy to drink at 5.5% ABV. Overall, it's not particularly memorable but hits the spot on a hot summer day in Israel.

 

 

Pours a reddish brown so the name (Pale Ale) is very misleading in terms of color. The head is tan. Aroma is floral and sweet. Taste is fairly sweet, with notes of Turkish delight, caramel and some yeasty esters. A very interesting beer overall.
