440ml can. Cloudy yellow with a small, very disappointing head (particularly for a wheat beer) despite a heavy pour. Smells strongly of bubblegum. Tastes of bubblegum plus a layer of herbal earthiness (which, I guess, is the “locally foraged bay”). Body is light and mouthfeel is thin. A bizarre and other worldly hefeweisse. Doesn’t work at all. Easily the worst beer I’ve had from this otherwise excellent brewery.

33cl bottle, 6m old.
Extremely light, clear, negligible foam.
Drive-by invokes rosemary or thyme... hard to choose. Was it Pressure Drop's pages that suggested a pairing with chicken...yes, a French roasted chicken with thyme in the cavity and roasted potatoes with rosemary, is what this invokes.
Aroma adds some citrus (even more within the sphere of roasted chicken), a bit of sweetness and now the herbal notes transform into the maquis. And sure enough the key ingredient.is locally foraged bay acc. to the label.
Taste has light, somewhat sweet, body carrying a very very mild bitterness and some herbal weight that does not divergw from the aroma.
Overall, brought to mind Colombia. The herbal aroma is so prominent it is hard to feel comfortable in approaching this beer. Nothing is wrong as such, but it does not feel like a beer. Some element is missing. Probably just pre-conditioning so leavingit up to judgement. Technically nothing is amiss.

Nice artwork on the bottle, very appealing colour of print. Pours a pale cloudy yellow as expected and smells of fresh green grass and a selection of light citrus fruits and herbs. Straight from fridge, bottle to glass. Unfortunately the flavour did not match the smell or expected taste. i found it to have an over powered taste of harsh ash and was rather fizzy feeling which made it unpleasant. Might have been a dodgy bottle or if this is the idea but was not my favourite, yet drinkable.
