Blood orange juice lends this IPA the full force of its sharp and pithy citrus power with bitter grapefruit coming through from the West Coast hops. Pucker up!
Hops: Citra, Amarillo.
Additions: Blood Orange puree.

440ml can. This 2021 resurrection of a Pressure Drop original switches out the mandarin for blood orange but I’m not convinced it works.
L: Freshly squeezed orange juice with a foam head that collapses quickly to a ring.
S: Freshly cut, damp straw.
T: Sharp and assertive, mouth-puckering bitterness. Some sweetness emerges reluctantly but the finish is loooooong and bone dry.
F: Medium body.
O: The blood orange adds a zesty edge but the tang of citrus is quickly lost. The overriding sense is of dryness. An arid, moisture-sucking, fruited American-style IPA. A major downgrade, looking at the earlier reviews.
