Copenhagen 6/6 2021. 44 cl can from Væskebalancen, Valby Langgade, Valby. The basic important things in life on the can like a guitar, sunglasses, a computer, a snail and a can of beer from Pressure Drop.
Pours opaque hazy, slightly dirty, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet fruity odor of tropical fruits mingling with a dry citric scent. Peach and mango. Grapefruit and lemon. Austere.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Not exactly basic. But a very nice NEIPA.

440ml can.
L: Cloudy orange with one finger of fluffy white head that collapses to a cap with spotty lacing.
S: Overripe mango, coriander seed, uncooked spring greens.
T: Rich and juicy mango and peach with a resinous, almost dank finish.
F: Each mouthful starts rich and smooth and ends dust dry. Pleasant tingle along the edges of the tongue.
O: Pressure Drop love their NEIPAs! This one is on the chalky end of the spectrum. There’s plenty of juice but it’s the dry, yeasty, pine notes that stand out.

Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and floral/herbal hops, with some citrus/tropical/stone fruit accents of orange and pineapple and white peach as well. Taste is a decent balance between biscuity malt and somewhat floral/herbal and slightly resinous hops, with citrus/tropical/stone fruit notes of orange, papaya, pineapple and white peach, as well as just a hint of pine. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some floral/herbal and fruity hops lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A decent NEIPA that is just a tad too floral/herbal for my personal taste, but still has some nice, reasonably juicy and somewhat zesty/tangy citrus/tropical/stone fruit notes going for it. I think that Idaho-7 is one of the few hop varieties that I get actual peach notes from, specifically white peach here. Pretty decent brew, doesn't quite blow me away, but enjoyable enough.
