It was love at first smell when we got our hands on a bag of Strata. It's a grapefruit sensation so-wrong-it's-right, a dank hop of dreams. Pair it with Citra and you're onto a winner.

440 ml can, shared with Holmen2 at Jars Bar, Deptford. ABV is 7.4%, hops are Strata and Cryo Citra. Hazy straw colour, white head. Typical NEIPA aroma and flavour: citrus and tropical fruits, moderate to low bitterness. Good beer.

440ml can.
L: Freshly squeezed pineapple juice with a fluffy, white head.
S: Tropical fruit juice with more than a hint of cabbage. Not unpleasant.
T: Grapefruit, mango, pineapple. Dank (more overripe than outright earthy). Bitterness is light-ish.
F: Rich, full, luxurious and chewy. Almost dry.
O: An over-the-top NEIPA that nevertheless manages some balance. Like a pineapple farm in Vermont. Ridiculously enjoyable.
