Copenhagen 9/2 2021. 44 cl can from Best of Beers Web-shop. Over-scribbled can with information about everything from responsible farming to migrating fish.
Pours opaque, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as paper thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet odor of exotic fruits mingling with sharp citric notes. Mango, papaya and pineapple. Whiff of fermentation. Citrus and grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth, a bit viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Finish is semi-dry with a streak of alcohol.
Quite intense and on the verge of being a DIPA flavor-vise. Not a bad way to learn about responsible farming.
