Copenhagen 20/8 2021. 40 cl from tap at Taphouse, Lavendelstræde, Kbh. K.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong odor of sweet, tropical fruit mingling with more subtle citric notes. Peach, papaya and pineapple. Light whiff of citrus and pine.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Finish is semi-dry with a light touch of alcohol.
Quite potent and sweet take on a DIPA. Could be a good fit for a hectic Disco Night with cocktails.

440ml can from Utobeer, London (£7):
Slightly bright but relatively clear amber with a 2.5cm, bubbly white head that holds fairly well, turning slightly frothy & fluffy on top. It's dank & hoppy on the nose with resinous pine, citrus & tropical notes, dry stone fruits & mango notes without being overly pronounced. The taste is similarly dank with the pine hop oils & citrus, it's a little stronger than the nose with some peach & papaya in there as well. It's medium to full bodied with a tangy feel & a boozy alcohol kick towards the end.
