Green fruit sour
Additions: Sea Salt, Gooseberry, Grape & Honeydew Melon
We've added a subtle hint of fruit in this nod to the classic Gose style. Green Means Go(se) is dry, spritzy and very light on the palate, it has a dominating tart flavour that is rounded out with a touch of sea salt to bring balance.
Keep it classy!

A: Pours a hazy pale straw yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint bright yellow + pale lemon yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall fizzy foamy white head that quickly reduces to a handful of small patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering approximately 85% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberry + honey dew melon + green grapes over the top of slightly heavier than moderate aromas of slightly sour wheat malts with moderate amounts of acidic lemon citrus lacto tartness and a hint of brininess.
T: Upfront there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of slightly sour wheat malts with moderate amounts of acidic lemon citrus lacto tartness and a hint of brininess. That is followed by just shy of moderate flavors of gooseberry + honey dew melon + green grapes. No perceptible hop presence but there is a moderate amount of lingering tartness.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of acidic tart prickliness.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and pleasantly acidic tart prickliness in the mouthfeel. Enjoyable to find a fruited kettle sour that is not sweet and/or smoothie-like - I like the subtle flavors and aromas from the fruits in a more traditional Gose.
