Our true lager, this Oktoberfest style beer is full-bodied, sweet, and bready. In Marzen-style fashion, this beer is dark copper in color and has a mild hop presence. It’s the perfect beer for when that crisp air starts coming down Seven Bridges Road.

Poured into a pint glass from a 12 ounce bottle. Cream colored head disappeared almost immediately. Lots of malty sweetness on the nose. The malt is well balanced by the hops on the first sip. Pretty clean finish.

On tap in Georgia.
Amber body with an off-white head that had poor retention ... at least in the plastic beer cup.
Malt forward smell and flavor with enough hops to keep the bitter - sweet balance near equal and to land some spicy hop notes.
Medium body and carbonation.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a cloudy amber colorwith a large white head. The aroma is malt with some citrus hops. The taste is a nice Marzen flavor that follows the nose.

12 ounce bottles - $2.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
BEST BY 01/22/17.
Appearance: Pours a near clear, golden-amber body with a smallish, receding, white head.
Smell: The aroma is rather restrained, just a bit of lightly toasty malts with a backdrop of lager yeast.
Taste: Toffee-tinged, toasty biscuity malts with a scant level of nuttiness. Subdued sweetness. Spicy, floral hops with a light, balancing bitterness. It doesn't exactly dry out, but the finish isn't overtly sweet by any means.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A solid iteration, it certainly beats the pants of Wild Heaven's Autumn Defense.

Appearance: Hazy light amber with orange hues. Off white head, OK lacing.
Aroma/Flavor: Grainy, straw malt aroma, touch of breakfast cereal and a hint of toffee. Get a bit of earthy hop on the palate as well.
Mouthfeel: light bodied and dissipating finish.
