Dark copper body with a very nice tan head.
Looks and drinks like a brown ipa, with plenty of medium malts to go with the ample hoop mix.
Well balanced and flavorful. Moderate bitterness.

Poured into 20 oz mug from keg. Appearance was cloudy and dark brown, so thick you couldn't see through it when held up to light. Aroma was hops-dominant with a touch of chocolate malt. Taste matched the aroma with the bitterness of an IPA but just enough roasted malt flavor to give it enough body to classify it in the brown ale category although it's definitely a hybrid. Mouthfeel was crisp - much more like a pale. This beer has the best of both worlds, and I'd love to have it again. Kudos to Jekyll.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The appearance is a dark brown with a small white head. The aroma is toasted malt and nuts. The taste is very mild. A good beer.
