This unique lager balances a rich caramel malt flavor with a smooth hop finish that keeps the palate crisp. Reddish-amber in color, this is a very complex California Common style beer with a great malt/hop balance.

Perfecto Malt Lager...
Nice color...
sweet maltyness hits the palette right off the bat....a small fruit note finish that dominates the hops . . and a velvety, easy goin' down ending..... with a minty cigar puff is great.
Yes, their brewpub is local to me, lucky me.
Growler fill ups.

Pours a clear deep copper/amber with a substantial and lasting head.
Smell is sweet caramel malt.
Taste is caramel and malt with a hint of dark fruit. Faint hop flavor in the finish.

Upon pouring, was struck by how deeply amber this beer is. One of the darkest ambers I've tried. Predictably, it is caramel malt forward. The off-white head hangs tough, and the beer is pleasantly full-bodied. If you like malty ambers, you'll enjoy being a beer outlaw.

Malty and slightly sour lager, overall body is on the watery side. Dark amber with small foamy head, initial sourness in the aroma can be off-putting. Finish is mix of sour and bitter. This one may be a matter of personal taste.
