64oz growler being poured into tulip glass:
Look: Pours a dark black color with about a half inch of head.
Smell: Awesome coffee notes along with some chocolate and cinnamon
Taste: Huge notes of coffee up front then coffee with the hints of pumpkin pie spices at the finish. This beer is very tasty.
Feel: Medium bodied. A bit on the thin side which is the only downside in my opinion.
Overall: This is probably my favorite fall beer! Huge coffee taste with some hints of pumpkin pie spices mixed in. There is no pumpkin in this recipe. Only pumpkin pie spices. Get out there and get some of this before its gone til next year!

Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a fudge brown color and a modest cap that leaves a few strands of lace
Smell: Coffee, chocolate and some roast, along with cinnamon and nutmeg tones
Taste: Coffee and roast flavors, up front, with developing chocolate and pumpkin pie spice notes in the middle; nicely balanced through the finish, with lingering spice elements
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A really nice and intriguingly different beer; there is no pumpkin in the recipe, just pumpkin pie spicing and that adds a nice contrast to the coffee stout for the holiday season

Pour is dark brown, almost black, with a nice very light mocha colored head. Nose is heavily roasted malt, clean coffee, decent cinnamon and nutmeg. Taste is bigger, less roast and coffee but still there. More spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and light peppery spice. Some malt characteristic mid palate, thins a little in the finish. Roast and coffee linger through finish. Medium body, very creamy feel and fairly assertive carb.

Pours a dark brown color with a light tan head. The aroma is of pumpkin spiced coffee, mocha, roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor mimics the nose in delicious fashion, once again nice coffee flavor, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, chocolate and vanilla. Very delicious and perfect to bring in an early autumn afternoon. Spices are not overdone, so the beer drinks smoothly and every sip leads to anticipation for more. A really nice coffee, pumpkin ale influenced stout.
