Handsome beer with a big sudsy pour in the Troubadour tulip. Color is a hazy yellow-amber. Faint malty sweetness, but it soon turns sharp, even sourish. Pleasant grainy aroma with a hint of fruity hops.
Quite yeasty with that scratchy dry finish. Rather bitter aftertaste with a mineral flavor. This is the more austere kind of Belgian pale. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Susan's Fine Wine & Spirits in Santa Fe.

I've visited Duel Brewing in Santa Fe and tasted this beer while I was there. This beer is true to style, and in a bottle presents as beautifully as it did in the brewery.
