I really wanted to love this. It has some cinnamon, but not a lot. I don't get the vanilla and would never have known this was BBA on taste. Maybe it is more subtle than my palate can sense. I don't regret the purchase, just wasn't impressed

Color is deep black and opaque with a nice head. The aroma is really unique, fragrant vanilla, a hint of cinnamon and oaky bourbon barrels. Full-bodied flavor with a bit more cinnamon than the nose, roasted barley and just a hint of bourbon sweetness. The mouthfeel is a bit light but not thin, making this very drinkable. An impressive beer, and I'm glad I got a growler of it.
