Batch 1 (113/312)
Appearance: Pours fudge brown with a modest ecru head that fades quickly; very leggy, with many spots of lacing
Smell: Roasty, burnt tones, with espresso and licorice
Taste: Very roasty, up front, with licorice tones building; some chocolate and espresso tones, in the middle but the finish is harsh and boozy; there is Bourbon in there but it doesn't taste quite on point
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with moderate carbonation
Overall: Quite a bit over-roasted and an odd finish

22oz pours deep brown color with a small fizzy khaki head. Smells predominately of burnt rubber tires and bandaids & chemical solvent. Undertones of chocolate and roast. Tastes of chemical solvent, rubber tires, chocolate and oak. Medium body and carbonation, creamy mouthfeel and finish. Obvious brewing flaw, I can't finish this one
