Poured on tap at the brewery in a shaker pint, the beer is a vibrant, slightly hazed, ruby-copper coloring with a foamy, low, off-white head. Aromas of roasted caramel, hints of honey, and subtle hops bitterness. Flavors are heavily roasted forward, with nutty and caramel malt profiles blending with a toasted grain character, some tangy sweet highlights, and a ribbon of bitter and resinosus hops character. Light and smooth bodied, with a sugary sweet and heavily roasted aftertaste. The finish has a sugary sweet linger on an otherwise light, smooth fade off the palate. Drinkable, but a little too sweet for me.
