Well I guess BA nuked all the previous reviews for this beer, because they definitely existed back in 2010.
This was a hefty looking beer, lots of red and brown color in the appearance. 3/4" off white head. Aroma was heavy on the alcohol and red malt earthiness.
Taste was a strong blast of alcohol, moderate bitterness, average hop mouthfeel from Cascades. Its a big ass beer bordering on barleywine like heat. If the idea of an imperial red ale floats your boat, check this out. Otherwise, its just another bomber format I'll stay away from in the future.
