On draught at The Bier Stein, their 9th Anniversary IPA is a hazy dull orange with an egg-shell skim and some foamy lace sheets.
Smell is robustly hoppy, big citrus, tangerine.
Taste is loaded with hop resins, dank and more depth than the nose, with the pine resin notes balancing the citrus. Fierce bitterness cuts any sweetness.
Mouthful is chewy and a little gritty, medium bodied. Sticky!
Drinkablity good, a proper OR IPA that represents The Bier Stein well and goes down easily.
