On tap at the brewpub in Eugene, Oregon.
Copper colored body with a very good head. Some lacing.
Caramel malts hold their own with the hops in the nose.
Rather distinctive flavor, especially for what may be a single hop (Cascade) APA. Mildly bitter.
Smooth, medium body and near medium carbonation.

Dark gold, white head and leaves minimal lacing. Smells like caramel, flowery hops and faint tropical fruit in the background. The taste is quite smooth with caramel sweetness from the malts. There is a slight tart lemony taste with the flowery hops following it up. The bitterness at the end is quite pleasant and balances the sweetness of the malt quite well. This is a really nice drinking APA.

12 oz can from a six pack purchased at Winco in S.Salem $7.29 the six. Pours a fine dark golden colour with a nice looking thick and frothy white head. Nice fresh hoppy aromas..mainly floral and lemon zest..some caramel from the malts. Fine taste of again hops..with a good malt backing..very "bright" Mouth feel is fine..medium high carbonation makes this an easy drinker. Good simple old style APA.

This is a classic Northwestern pale ale, cascade hops, caramel/toffee malt backbone. This is what I want SN Pale to be, crisp, clean, impressive. In my lineup of go to pales.
