Firsties on a review! Seeing so many beers from this brewery, we're surprised to see this ... must be new. A cloudy pour, with virtually no head retention. Highly floral and grassy aroma, not much else. First taste is weird, slighly medicinal with no carbonation. The mouthfeel is flat. We have been very pleased with Hop Valley beers, but this one misses the mark. A Pale Ale should be crisp and refreshing. This one is almost a chore to drink. Has a date of BB March 17th of next year (?!?), which give it's 4 Nov is a long way off for a fresh hop ale.
Update - one year later. We made the mistake of buying this beer again this year (2018) with the best by date in '19. The best thing we can say is that now we know last year's review was on the money. Keep in mind we buy other beers such as Citrus Mistress which are pretty good. Do not buy this beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
