Another beer from Hop Valley that is really good but don't remember too much about it. Of course, I really like IIPA's, and this one has a good balance between malt, hops and alcohol. 96 IBUs

Orange color with plenty of foam in the Kasteel chalice. Well, it's a big bowl to stick your nose in. And it has plenty of aroma with the blast of pine and grilled pineapple. Hot with alcohol. Lush fruit with lingering bitterness for penance. Gardenia scent and canned mango taste.
This is just rocket fuel with hops. Lingering grapefruit peel but buffered by sugar. Candied citrus and papaya liqueur. Really a highly sippable and flavorful powerful brew. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at the candy store in northern Wash.

22oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of pine, grapefruit, orange and toasted caramel. Nice sweet tropical fruit flavors with sweet caramel.

Bottle from Brewers Haven. Orange amber with small ring of head. Flowery, fruity, bitter aroma. Taste dries out a bit, mild bitterness, Solid grain bill.

I am reviewing this from recent memory as I have only had two bottles (bombers) of this fine brew.
The taste is what I remember most and I think it is one of the best West Coast DIPAs ever. I sure wish this beer was more available in my area. If you should see this sometime and you enjoy this style give it a try. It would be really cool to find this beer in 6 or 12 pack cans.
