Made to honor the likes of the cop buddy smash hit movie “Tango and Cash,” this end of summer sipper is sure to please. Unlike some of our fruit beers before, this one packs an impressive hop punch from the addition of Mosaic Hop Hash. We add a tiny bit in the boil and then a generous amount post-secondary fermentation of Mango. Sip, Love, Repeat!

Pour two twelve ounce cans of this to empty them into a clear glass liter mug and one thing you won't get is a head. It's deep amber in color and hazy. The aroma has a malty character to go with the mango. It also tastes that way. Problematic is the mouthfeel. It's too light and it accents the lack of full flavor from the mango and even the malt. Even those that like fruit infused IPAs will likely be disappointed by the blandness of this beer. It's not mango dominated, which is a good thing, but it lacks good IPA qualities.

Definitely thought I'd get more mango out of this one since it contains mango puree. It has a citrus background with a mango after taste. Still good and enjoyable. Full mouthfeel as well. I like it.

Pours out of the can a slightly opaque orange-gold with a finger of head and moderate lacing. Smells like its namesake mango and citrus. The taste follows the nose but with more emphasis on the citrus rather than mango. I guess I was expecting something else from this beer.

A pretty typical hoppy ale, this time with a bit of mango flavor added. Smells kinda like mango soda, the taste is mango perfume-y with a diet pale ale level of hop flavor, though decently bitter

Slightly hazy light honey color with a moderate foamy white head which recedes to just a ring very quickly but manages a few bits of lacing.
The aroma is very light caramel malt with some hint of tropical fruit.
The taste is more pronounced mango with a touch of citrus and some lingering grapefruit zest in the finish.
The body is light/medium, moderate carbonation,.
Altogether, this is a decent, refreshing brew, fairly tasty, not bad for a hot summer day.

Hop Valley Brewing Co. "Mango & Stash"
12 fl. oz. can coded "BBD 08/04/22 D5050020750"
$2 @ ShopRite #519, Roxborough, PA

Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a very hazy golden colored body beneath a finger's width of creamy white foam. The aroma is far from the brightest but it's fruityand there is a dull note of mango to it. Some malt comes through but it's not very distinct. On to the taste... it's pretty much the same. It's fruity in a mainly tropical way (orange, pineapple) although there's some apple & berry as well, and the mango remains present. The malt is lightly sweetish and wheaty. A stiff bitterness runs through it and it finishes mainly dry with some pineapple, mango, and pine lingering. In the mouth it's medium-light in body and gently crisp. The head didn't hold up that well, nor did it leave much behind in the way of lacing. This is the last of three beers from Hop Valley that I've sampled this week and I'm a little bit surprised that it's not better than it is considering the quality of the others. It's not bad, but it seems muddled and watery, and apart from the strength I'm not sure what makes this an IPA. I'd score it better if it was labeled as a pale ale.

Oh, this is not so bad, it's for swilling out of the 12-pack after a hard work day on the tree removal crew. Not me, but I was gifted one by the aforementioned. Light and sudsy, pleasant enough fruity taste. The slight bitterish and astringent aftertaste is hardly worth mentioning after the last 20 or 30 IPAs I've reviewed. Down the hatch! From the 12 oz can with the suspicious date a couple months hence.

Look: slightly hazy & yellow/slightly orange. Actually looks like it would have a decent mango flavor. Decent head with slight retention
smell: very slight mango and the brewery smell of yeast and wort kind of off putting.
Taste: bland tastes more like a watered down philsner with a bad lingering after taste than an IPA
Feel: not pleasant
Very disappointed I purchased a 12 pack of Hop Valley variety don't have much hope for the others

12oz can poured into teku glass. BBD 08/04/22 printed on bottom of can, so this has another 2 months in it.

Appearance - Small white sudsy head. Decent retention. Hazy gold body. 4

Smell - Boring. Nothing's there. 2.25

Taste - Kind of gross. Tastes nothing like mango. Tastes a little bitter for no reason without any of the sweetness you'd expect. Not pleasant for sure. 1.75

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied and somewhat astringent. Not pleasant. 1.75

Overall - Not awfu...l but close.
