All of Hop Valley's Cryo hops beers are very low in IBU. At 40 IBUs, this isn't really an IPA, it's an APA (American Pale Ale). An IPA would be at least 50 IBU, and up to 70 if you like more bitter IPAs. The low IBU has the result of making it taste very sweet in flavor and body.
Perhaps the Miller Coors ownership of Hop Valley is causing them to make their beers less hoppy in order to make them more accessible to drinkers who like Coors Light? Or they decided to just market everything as an IPA because it's the popular style now?
Look: Pale yellow color, cloudy / hazy.
Smell: Citrus and sweet fruit - passionfruit, grapefruit, orange.
Taste: Citrusy hop flavor mixed with fruity sweetness.
Feel: A bit sticky on the palate, medium bodied.
