Another Beer I've had a few of. I just saw a can in my fridge the other day and has probably been there about a year. Very flavorful beer with a high ABV that is not that noticeable.

I got a couple of cans of this beer from a mixed 12pck that I bought from my local meijer store. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that left some lace. The scent had subtle dank citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with pineapple and mango presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

12 oz can exp date July 7, 2024 into a tulip glass.
L: SRM 4.5 Pours a lightly yeasty glowing golden caramel color with a 1/4" white head that recedes to a thick skin, light steady carbonation, light random lacing.
S: Light citrus, a hint of lemon, light alcohol with warming. Clean aroma overall.
T: Gently tart citrus, light melon rind, a touch of lemon, peach, tangerine, fruit and caramelized malts mingle to create some sweetness. It has a long zesty lingering finish and light alcohol with warming. It is gently bright and lightly rich overall.
F: Smooth, lightly creamy medium-bodied mouthfeel with a long lingering lightly drying finish.
O: A highly fruity IPA and is fairly zesty. Drinks fairly smoothly and is well balanced with flavors. It is lightly tart at first, then sweet, and then zesty. It is very good in its style.

my first thought with this was, they should probably put this in a tall can, but the picture here confirms that they already do. the segment is hot, makes sense to play in it with this, a bruiser but also a sneaky drinker. my third consecutive hop valley beer tonight, and i like it. it straddles the east and west coast style line in that its obviously well dry hopped and modern, but its also bitter and kind of danky and oily, works for me, fresh enough in this instance, label says citra but this is a bold expression of that, especially if its riding solo, but maybe the cryo format does a lot, seems too malty to maybe tell clearly, but there is balance here that i like, its sweet and it has bite, there is citrus and light melon on the hop side and there is toasted bread and some oxidation, and its got some cooked sugar. its not original, and its not incredible, but i like the bitterness trumping the fruit and the sweet, and i like the body staying middle for its high abv, faint yeastiness which doesnt hurt anything, some fading hop green linger, and bitter burps. this isnt a leader of its class, but its no slouch, and i think it hides most of its alcohol nicely. pairs well with overtime hockey!

12 oz can, from a mixed 6-pack.
Purchased from Plaid Pantry in West Salem OR.
$12.99
Pours a deeper burnt orange body with a superb rocky/frothy white head. Also great lace thereafter.
Aroma is very citrusy. Lemon, tangerine, orange peel etc. Small amount of dank in the end.
Taste similar. More lemon. And a good amount of sweet malts to balance it all out.
Good clean medium bodied mouth feel. That is highly unusual for this type of beer.
Lovely DIPA
