Just added this beer to the database, and I'm gonna review it because I'm not a sociopath. Picked up a 6 pack of this at Winco last summer for like $5.99. Tough to pass up a style that is easy going for that price.
Pours a light blonde golden color that is the most familiar as beer. Rough head formation and big time struggle to retain anything more than a smattering of film in the 1/8" range. The aroma is neutral on the ale yeast, almost nothing in terms of hops, but a grain contingency is the biggest leader.
Taste is much the same, this is the ballpark beer you get for people who aren't weirdos like you obsessing over ibus, abvs and barrels. Nothing offensive or defining to the beer. Golden grain in a light way, same with the hopping, its mass produced levels of barely there. Its just a BMC ale kind of beer with its own branding for the minor league baseball team in Reno. Perhaps you might think it has a decent amount of hops for a blonde ale. I could see that. Its plenty fine for the ballpark.
