On tap at Hop Valley, 10.22.2010.
Clear reddish brown body, good amount of rising carbonation, one finger light tan head, medium dissipation with good lacing. Mild roast in the nose, minimal hop presence, a bit floral. Taste mirrors the nose, not much in the way of hops, quite a bit of caramel malts, some brown sugar and molasses notes. Medium-full mouthfeel, average effervescence. Pretty good drinkability. A nice one-off from HV Trevor Howard, one of Oregon's most talented brewers.
